Prerequisites

Delphi design the systems, they know how they work. They also know how to repair them when they don’t. During this course we’ll teach you these same skills. You will gain a firm understanding of the principles of modern air conditioning systems, and from here, develop a real knowledge of how they work and how to diagnose faults. Building on the basic refrigerant handling course, it covers effective fault finding, diagnosis and repair using air-conditioning recovery units, diagnostic tools, and automotive multi-meters.

Fundamentals of air conditioning.
Refrigeration cycle.
System/component operation.
Climate control systems.
Hybrid system differences.
Recovery, charging and recycling.
Practical performance testing.
Diagnosis of electronic air conditioning – circuits.
Practical diagnosis exercises using MAC – station and gauges.
Electronic circuitry practical testing.
